The owners of this property delight in their plants and seeing them grow! They often work alongside the qualified horticulturists from City Gardens.

The brief involved establishing defined spaces in the garden whilst keeping an informal and flowing feel to the outdoor space as a whole.  Ideas included a variety of plants, vegetable beds, a herb garden, a possible deck and plenty of lawn. The client's passion to start gardening in her own garden was exhilarating and inspiring!

The design was established in close collaboration. Curved metal edging formed flowing garden beds, two metal and wooden raised vegetable beds were placed on the sunniest side of the garden and herbs in pots took their place on the sunny rock-face.

This garden has evolved over the years from little more than an overgrown grassy slope and sandstone rock-face, to a much loved garden where many hours have been spent, adjusting, developing and adding ideas with the enthusiastic owners.  It is has been a pleasure to see it develop and mature.
